  • I’m not one to make posts like this, but today is a day to #neverforget. I remember the morning of 9/11. I couldn’t believe the US was attacked…not on our soil. I heard a someone lost a parent. I couldn’t even fathom what it felt like to lose a loved one. Yet, through all the sadness and anger, our nation stood together, united and strong. Today isn’t just a day to grieve. Today is a day to celebrate and remember because we live with the memories of our loved ones and we live to honour them. Take a moment to remember those not just lost on the day of the attack, but also those that protected us overseas as a result of that attack and continue to. Remember them. Honour them. We can live ignorant to the things happening around us because of them. Let the people you care about know that you do, because you don’t know what’s going to happen.
